When renting Villa G you will be blessed with breathtaking views - west across the valley of the picturesque village of Preggio, south over Lago Trasimeno and further to the mountains of Tuscany in the far distance.
You will also get to live close to nature in a sustainably built, modern and luxurious villa with a unique and highly personal interior feel. The villa is designed and styled by the owners, who both work in interior design and photography. The area is a protected Nature 2000 zone - immersed in unspoilt Umbrian countryside.
Villa G is privately owned, and we treasure every moment we can spend here. We are pleased to rent it to people who - like us - truly appreciate Italy, the Umbrian countryside, the majestic views and the peace of this exceptional place.
Serenity and nature all around, yet only 6 km to Castel Rigone, 15 km to Passignano sul Trasimeno, 25 km to Perugia, 30 km to Cortona - and just 90 minutes from Florence and 2½ hours from Rome.

The Villa
Ideal for up to 8 people with four double bedrooms. The 220-square-meter house has two levels.
All bedrooms are fitted with mosquito screens and a direct exit to the terrace, so you can throw the doors open and let the cool evening air drift through. Quiet floor fans in every room keep Villa G comfortable right through the Umbrian summer — as you'd expect from an energy class A home. A gentle, green choice. The 1st-floor bedroom also has a private balcony—1st-floor bathroom with two wash basins. The ground floor bathroom is directly connected with the bedroom.
Large tall-ceiling kitchen/dining room, with rustic wooden dining table and fireplace. Lounge with sliding glass doors and panoramic 100-kilometre view of Lago Trasimeno and beyond.
Large patio in the entire length of the house, shaded by a large oak tree. Washing machine, dishwasher, large gas cooker with five burners and electric oven, American fridge with ice cube maker and chilled water.
Amenities
Villa G is privately owned, and we treasure every moment we can spend here. But we are pleased to rent it to people - who like us - truly appreciate Italy - the Umbrian countryside - the majestic views and the peace of this exceptional place. The nearest shopping is in Castel Rigone - 6 kilometres away.

Septimius Krogh
We live in Denmark – Copenhagen – have two grown-up children and two cats. Lise is an interior designer, stylist and author – Kristian works as a professional photographer and produces pictures for several international clients.
We are both self-employed, and besides working independently with clients, we also have, for more than three decades, produced features about homes and interiors and the people living there. Our work has been published in more than 70 magazines in 20+ countries. We have also made eight books, of which two are made in Italy.
Besides working together, we also have a shop/gallery in Copenhagen – "Studio Septimius Krogh" – here, we show and sell unique vintage, delicate designs, furniture, jewellery and art photography by Kristian.
